xsarastan- FULL STORY! xsara vts hdi 130bhp

Right then peeps, i will start from the beggining, this could take a little time.  ;D
my history with the humble xsara started about 5 years ago when i worked at a citroen main dealer. i had known jonnyxsara for a few years and seen his creations and i really liked the coupe, but i wasnt convinced about getting a vts due to the insurance and i didnt really consider a westcoast. so i test drove a c2 gt for a week and was a bit unimpressed, and when i returned to work after a long weekend in the c2 gt, work had had a xsara westcoast in as a p/x. the car was on the ramp in the workshop with no wheels on as the guy who traded it in kept them for his next car. but i instantly wanted the car, so i chatted to the sales manager, did a deal and got some 17`s fitted..... and that was it- my first xsara. i then sat about modding it with the help of jonny and andy (xsara170) when neccessary  ;)
the mods included-
*17 fox wheels with crystal finish
*lowered 60mm front and 70mm rear
*induction kit from a discovery
*remus back box
*painted brakes
*cat1 alarm
*citsport knob
*6x9`s sub and amp- uprated speakers
*usa neons fitted
*ibiza front splitted
*mudflaps
and lots of other stuff but you get my drift, heres a couple of piccies....  ;)

then i sold the xsara and bought a amg 190 merc, soon got board of filling the tank of a 2.6 6 cylinder, so i bought my second xsara  ;)

she was a t-plate 1.8 16 vtr and she belonged to a mate from nearly new but had then been sold out of the area. she was very rough and required huge amounts of tlc.
after all the mechanical maintenance was done i treated her to
*powerflow exhaust system
*cotton green filter
*17 compo coppies
*strut brace
*poly bushes
*led rear lights
and other little bits....  ;)

heres how i bought her....

and while i had the blue vtr i got offered this one from a member on xsara sports club, i liked the colour, but it turned out to have some strange rattles form the top end so i tidyed her up, fitted some vts rims to replace the saxo vtr ones it came with. she was a 1.8 16v vtr in bora bora. then i sold her  ;)

then i thought it was time to move on from the phase one in blue, so i trauled the internet and after a month or two i came across my next one an iclandic grey p2 vtr 1.6 16v.  ;)
she was a one owner ex-demo from citroen rotherham and had been fitted from new with the citroen sport bodykit and had beed to cituning for the evo 2 piece spoiler. then they sent it to exhausts uk for a custom twin exit stainless system to match the bodykit holes. the prvious owner also fitted some not to nice 17`s multifit ones... ???
so i got her and fitted some 17 inch tsw`s and a pipercross induction kit. then i fitted a vts interior and red led rear lights, and again other stuff i dont remember  ;)

right then, next came a red 1.6 vtr i bought from tony on here for my mum, it was very light damaged to the front, bonnet really and bumper adjust. but true to form my mum got a company car so i sold it after about a month, this had p2 interior and a cituning exhaust and an induction kit and p2 rear lights, i took the mods off and sold them/used them but left the interior in  ;)
