my mate just went on confused.com and got a quote on the VTS for ?1040 from quinn direct, next one up was ?2166, third one was about ?3000 :o it said that quote was valid til 04/09/08 so i told him to print off the page and write down the reference number cos those scamming gits will always change it at the last minute ::)

Good thinking, they are always changing prices. Found my insurance through confused, insured with thick twit lol. Checked again (for renewal) by changing some info so it was the same as sep (renewal date) and think twit had upped the premium by.......?200!!!! and the worst bit, my DR10 doesn't have to be declared when I renew!! So in theory (well, theirs anyway) if you DONT have a conviction you pay more! :idiot2: :uglystupid2:

same happened to me, my original quote for the VTS was just over ?1k but by the time i actually got it sorted it came to ?1400 >:( :knuppel2: :tickedoff:
