F*ck the GUI, you have no idea what I went through a quarter ago!
I was toying with Lexia when the car went into energy saving mode. I couldn't switch it off by starting the engine (like it always works in my dad's C5) so I thought it was beacuse of something I had done in Lexia, and it was when I unleashed hell
Somehow I deprogrammed the key (my only one!), the BSI, switched off remote, turned on immobiliser and at that exact moment the battery on ThinkPad got finished and Lexia crashed down hahaha... I was like "Dear Lord, please tell me it hasn't been all saved..." But life ain't no fairytale. I turned on the key and the car was dead: no lights, no display, engine not starting.
I turned the laptop back on and restarted Lexia, somehow reverted all the changes, managed to regain the key and disable the immobiliser. Then I overrode energy saving mode by disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes - so it wasn't due to Lexia, but an idiot keeping an ignition on for more than 30 minutes. But why the heck it didn't switch off after I started the engine and even drove in the middle of the night without any lights around the parking?!?
Is there any reliable tutorial on this software? Man! I had to change my pants!
