Bought a Xsara VTS for a track car
« on: July 06, 2012, 08:23:38 pm »
Hi, I'm in Bracknell, just bought a Citroen
Xsara VTS for a track car the interior has been removed except for the front seats.

I have a fruity exhaust on it, and the air con removed.

Cant wait to get it on the track.

Do you still have the aircon ( freon) tubing and if so is it for sale and how much would you be looking for? :)

Hello and welcome.

Quite a few members use the VTS as a track car. Have a look through the members threads, like CarlVTS.

Secret is increase the horses (induction/exhaust), and reduce weight (some remove even the carpet's and glue sand in the footwell's).
May contain 35 other Citroen Xsara's, a Xantia, and some Pug 306 parts. May even have new parts fitted.

All Interior has been removed, new fruity exhaust K&N filter, lightweight magnesium wheels.

Just need to get the aux belt fitted then away we go.

Surely that's not going to lose much weight..... Those seats are damn heavy though.

If you don't need it - loose it.

And if you loose it, it'll probably fall off anyway.  :coolsmiley:
