Hi all,

A small question, is the difference between KPKD and KPKER codes visible?? I would like to change the front right wing and found only one KPER coloured while my car is KPKD.

Thanks in advance for your help

The answer is almost definitely yes... Otherwise what's the point of having colour codes

So from that coding, yours is Mauritius Blue with pearlescent lacquer. Even the lacquer type, or lack of it, would make a difference to the appearance.
Even with the correct coding, there is always some batch variation. I found when trying to match mine, the closest was Halfords paint match system, followed by Citroens own spray can (bit more sparkle to it), then Halfords premix (more grey).

hows this for a paint name     Rouge Denfer Nacre Met       paint code KJA/D      is a very dark met red, went to dealer and they had't got a clue and could't tell me the colour had to go to a spray shop and with the help of about a million paint cards eventually found the correct code and colour name

KJA  - Dante Red - Also Rouge Lucifer in the paint code database. The D is Pearlescent Lacquered.

See: http://www.cxoc.net/index.php?topic=1821.15

Citroen have been nothing if not promiscuous with these names over the years.  Grin

I´ve noticed that my xsara´s colour slightly differs from the older xsara with black bumbers. The code is KAAC**, which means hellos yellow with varnished metallic finish. Can someone with hellos yellow xsara which haves black bumbers, tell their paint code?

mine is KAAER

which, according to this:

found this in http://www.citroen-owners-club.co.uk

Fourth letter is the finish - with the previous three being the colour code itself

A - Opaque unvarnished
B - varnished non-metallic
C - varnished metallic
D - pearlescent lacquered

a non existing paint  2funny
