Ph2 Exhaust downpipe to cat
« on: June 01, 2012, 07:51:39 pm »
Hi all,

Garage have identified the rattling on my car as the downpipe on the exhaust slowly failing.  Can anyone confirm if that part also includes the CAT or if they are one and the same part ?  I could do without forking out for the new CAT if possible !!

Thanks

Rich

That's the sort of thing you're looking for - just after the turbo. Yes, does include the  cat, but not overly pricey from "Buy Parts By"

Thanks, and yes the cost isn't that bad....my last car a Golf Estate needed a new CAT and that was over £300 just for the part....
