Welcome aboard, I have a Xsara manual on file if that's any help. It covers most Xsaras from '97 to '00. Haynes didn't do another one for later models but most of the info still applies. Cheers, Willy. O0

Well you're in the correct place for Xsara hint's and tips.

I have got the Xsara 1.4 Citroen engine manual if you're getting stuck.
May contain 35 other Citroen Xsara's, a Xantia, and some Pug 306 parts. May even have new parts fitted.

Vital point - lock the cylinder liners down with  big washers on bolts, and don't turn the crankshaft whilst head is off.

You'll break the seals at the bottom end of the wet liners and that's a whole new ball game.
