1.6 lx auto estate,,wicked red,,, my project ,
dc.diesel:
we bought this tidy wicked red 2001 1.6 petrol auto estate in the middle of april 2011 that needed an auto box,,as we break xsara's for a hobby and to help other xsara owners get parts for their cars at a good (cheap) price ,, we had a black saloon auto with a knacked engine , so problem solved,, got the box fitted on good friday and was driving it on the saturday, the wife has decieded it is now her car and put her pink fluffy dice on the interior mirror, we put a nice set of sx alloys on it ,put in computer screen from a vts with a bigger screen which shows more info,,changed the number plate from a y reg to my personlised plate which she had made up from ebay with the roadrunner and wylie coyote at each end and she got a nice new bit of carpet put in the boot to match the paintwork (gearbox oil had been spilt in it) ,,,, then got a carzone front spoiler and bumper off ebay and we fitted that, she got fed up with the radio cassete so a cd player from a vts was fitted , to cure the beeping sound she got the player re-coded to the car,, she now wants to get a sporty rear bumper spoiler and sideskirts, can the skirts be bought cheaper than ?90 all in as on ebay ? by the way she is 40 and we have 2 teenagers and a 11 yr old, , i think she is trying to re-live her youth ..
comments welcome !!!!! :coolsmiley:
Captain Joe:
nice carpet O0 can't say i'm a fan of the bumper though, but it's a ph2 so you can't really make the front end look any worse can you? ;D
The Wrinkly Ninja:
Well there's always the 206 elephant bum approach to make it more resemble a Phase I , I suppose - but I can't imagine why you'd want to go that route.
I think there's a Carzone rear end spoiler that encloses the pipe and doesn't look too outlandish. Whether it would fit the estate, I don't know - I can't see why not.

Well it's better than living on Xsara Street (or owning a Loft of Doom)
