I had a 2.0 N/A before my first VTS. An S reg with a 5 cylinders, it purred nicely . It survived the Nurburgring, (apart from the dent in the rear wing ) and never missed a beat. All I done for mods was uprated brakes, strut brace and drilled the airbox. I loved the dash layout, it handled well, but was a bit short on power. Obviously a turbo one would solve that issue, but you need to look hard to find a good one. Probably the only car i've made money on when I sold it.
